How to Reset the Ink Levels on a Canon IP6700

The Canon iP6700 has a monitoring system to alert you to low ink levels in the cartridges. When you receive an alert that the ink is running low, you should change the cartridges right away to reset the monitoring system. The iP6700 printer uses series CLI-8 black and color cartridges, available at most office and computer supply stores. Change the cartridges at home and save the expense of a technician visit.
