How to Prevent Autoplay on a CD
AutoPlay is a feature that launches CDs and DVDs automatically when you insert them into your computer's CD/DVD-ROM drive. Depending on the type of CD inserted, your computer uses the default program to launch media content or display files. You can also disable the AutoPlay feature if you prefer to launch CD content manually.
