Changing the password on your Linksys router will add security to your network.

Linksys wireless routers use a wireless equivalent privacy (WEP) password to protect home and business networks. Wireless security is important to consider when setting up your network. If your wireless network password is compromised, you could be held liable for the activity that occurs on your network. This might include illegal downloading of music or other offenses. Changing your WEP password is a good way to protect your network from intruders.
