How to Put a Fujitsu Computer in Sleep Mode
Fujitsu makes many different models of computers, including the desktop, notebook and tablet PC. Each of the computer models comes with a built-in feature that allows you to conserve battery power. By using your battery less you can increase the life of your battery. In most cases you can easily put your Fujitsu computer into "sleep" mode (also referred to as "standby" mode). However, there may be instances in which you have to take additional steps to put your computer to sleep.

Click on the "Standby" option. If you are running Windows Vista, it will read "Sleep" instead of "Standby." Therefore, you will click the "Sleep" option for Vista.

Wait for the power light to start flashing. This is an indicator that your computer has entered "sleep mode." If the light does not start flashing, but instead remains steady, your computer has not entered sleep mode. In this case, the only way to put your computer in sleep mode is to configure the computer settings. This can be done by proceeding to the next step.

4
Click on your Fujitsu's "Start" menu. Click on "Settings" and "Control Panel." Select "Power Options."

5
Look underneath the "Hibernate" tab. Place a check-mark in the box to "Enable" the hibernation feature. You can now close out of the "Power Options" window.

6
Press the "Power/Suspend/Resume" button again to put your Fujitsu computer in sleep mode.
