How to Measure VoIP Quality
Voice over Internet Protocol (or VoIP) is a way of using the your Internet connection for telephone calls that would normally go through a land line. You can use a normal telephone connected to a router supplied by your VoIP provider. Before you sign up, though, it is best to check if the quality of your Internet connection measures up to VoIP quality. A good connection will be fast, but also free of extraneous noise that will disrupt the sound quality of your calls. Several tools on the Internet measure for VoIP quality.
