How to Disable the IE7 Phishing Filter Registry
The phishing filter registry in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 protects users from potentially fraudulent websites. Phishing is the act of attempting to collect personal information under the guise of being a company that an individual trusts. The phishing filter analyzes web pages to see if they contain certain characteristics common among phishing websites. Disabling the phishing filter will turn off the background website scanning and warning messages.
