Lexar is a computer hardware manufacturer that creases USB flash drives (or jump drives). These jump drives connect directly into the USB port of a Mac or Windows computer and are used to save content, or export data to a computer. Both systems use the jump drive as a data storage device, although the use process is sightly different for a Mac and PC.
PC

Step 1
Connect the Lexar USB jump drive into one of the USB ports on your computer.

Click "Start," "(My) Computer," and double-click the removable device icon. A window appears with all of the files currently stored on the device.
Step 3
Copy files over to the computer by clicking the file in the open window and dragging it onto the computer.
Step 4
Save files to the drive by either click-and-dragging the files from the computer onto the Lexar jump drive, or by opening the document, selecting "File," "Save As," and choose the removable device as the save-to location.
Mac
Step 1
Connect the Lexar USB flash drive to one of the USB ports on the Mac computer. A removable device icon momentarily loads onto the screen.
Step 2
Double-click the icon and a window appears with all of the files currently stored on the Lexar USB jump drive.
Step 3
Copy files over to the computer by clicking the file in the open window and dragging it onto the computer.
Step 4
Save files to the drive by either click-and-dragging the files from the computer onto the Lexar jump drive, or by opening the document, selecting "File," "Save As," and choose the removable device as the save-to location.
