How Can I Tell How Many Pixils Are in My Microsoft Paint Picture?

Pixels are color dots and used as a form of image measurement.

Pixels in an image are important for determining the size of the image. When you want to add a picture to an online profile or website, there is sometimes a maximum number of pixels allowed for the picture. The pixels are the tiny dots that hold the color and make up the image. Pixels are measured in width and height; a common avatar pixel measurement is 80 by 80, for example. You can us Microsoft Paint to measure how many pixels are in an image.

Instructions

1. Click "Image" at the top while in MS Paint with your picture open or after you created it.

2. Select "Attributes."

3. Select "Pixels" under the "Units" section.

4. View the pixel amount next to "Width" and "Height." This tells your image's pixel size.
