You can create a gift basket for the person who has everything by choosing a combination of useful, unusual and wacky items and packing them into a specially chosen basket.

Choosing the Gifts and Basket

1. 

   Select the gifts from items such as the following: specialty fruits; heirloom plants, such as roses; out-of-print books about favorite hobbies or sports; new state-of-the-art handheld games; unusual electronic creations; special-blend coffee beans; anything chocolate; and anything home-baked.

2. 

   Pick a basket. Decide on the color and style by choosing one that will fit into an upscale setting. Choose from baskets with one handle, with two side handles, or without handles. Make certain the basket is large enough to hold the gifts you have selected.

3. 

   Use shredded paper filling to make the gifts fit snugly in the basket.

4. Buy an appropriate greeting card.

Packing the Basket

5. Wrap each present with a colorful gift wrap.

6. Put a layer of shredded paper filling in the bottom of the basket.

7. Place the wrapped gifts vertically or horizontally in the basket, as space allows, pushing the filling between gifts to ensure a very snug fit.

8. Place the basket in the center of a large piece of clear or tinted cellophane gift wrap. You may need two pieces of the wrap to completely cover a large basket.

9. Bring all sides of the wrap to a few inches above the top of the basket. Secure the wrap by tying it with a long, colorful ribbon.

10. Tape your greeting card to the wrap.
