How to Send Egreetings

Let people know you are thinking about them with an e-greeting.

If you are like most people, you are looking for a way to save a little money and a whole lot of time. You can do both by sending electronic greetings instead of paper greeting cards. You send e-greetings via the Internet to a recipient's email address instead of using the post office to deliver the greeting to a residential address. It looks like a traditional greeting card, but can be found and sent for free at the Egreetings website.

Instructions

1. Look at the large supply of free electronic greeting cards at the Egreetings website. Select a category to view, such as birthday, Christmas, new baby or thinking of you. To see more than a thumbnail picture of a card, you will need to click it. You will be redirected to another page where you can view the card in its entirety.

2. Click on the button that says "email this eCard," or "choose another eCard." If you choose to send the card, you will be redirected to another page where you can enter your information. But if you want to browse more, you will be sent back to the main page, which is covered with several cards.

3. Type your name and email address into the supplied blanks and then the recipient's name and address. You can also add a brief message in a different font style and color to personalize the card. There are 16 colors and nine font styles from which to choose.

4. Preview the card and press the "send card" button. After you send it, you will see a message telling you to download the Egreetings toolbar. You must have the toolbar to send Egreetings.

5. Click the "save file" button. A new Egreetings toolbar will begin downloading and you will see a message stating your card has been sent.
