How to Make Envelopes Online
Creating a mass mailing for a small business may seem like a daunting task. However, by using online websites to create and personalize the envelope, the task can be complete within minutes. Online websites will print color scheme details as well as offer a variety of font letter types. Different envelope templates and styles are also offered as part of the overall design scheme. By adding company logos as well as contact and website information to the design, it gives the envelope a professional touch.

1
Choose an envelope style from an online website, such as iPrint.com, and click on the envelope model. Select a style, such as basic-, self seal- or a security- envelope, which generally has a blue tint surface within the envelope. Keep in mind that these envelope styles are also available with a clear window; however, the cost is higher.

2
Click on the "customize and order" button, which will redirect you to the design page. You will have the option to upload your company logo or choose from a selection of pre-made decorative logos that represent several businesses, including eco-friendly firms, cleaning services and law offices. The template will also have a set location for your contact information in the upper left-hand corner. These pre-selected spots cannot be altered.

3
Choose your font letter type set from the drop-down menu. You will most likely have a box to type in your information. As you proceed typing, the site will show you how the letter type will appear on your envelope. Type several versions until you find a font that has the feeling of your company. For example, use an italicized, script font such as Shelley Alegro Script for an elegant accessories business.

4
Choose your color scheme from the color tabs offered by the website. Keep in mind that the more colors you add to the envelope design, the more expensive the envelope will cost to produce.
-
5
Choose your point size for your letter type. This will determine how small or large your company information will appear on your envelope. Remember, this is a business envelope for a mass mailing and often times, less is more. Keep it clean, distinct and professional with your company information being the focal point for your potential customers.
