How to Determine Who Registered a Domain With a Proxy
Domain names are like Internet real estate, and some can be worth a lot of money to the right person. When registering a domain name, you must complete the registration information, which includes your name or company name and address. The registrar information is available to the public. Some register domain names with the hopes of being offered money in exchange for the domain name. On the other hand, large companies often hire a brand protection company to register their domain names and protect their online brand. There are many websites that offer a free WHOIS query of databases to determine the domain registrar.
