How to Remove Set As Desktop Background

A default Windows desktop background.

Choosing a picture for your desktop is very easy to do. You can select from pictures you have on your computer, or just solid color backgrounds. When surfing the web you can find thousands of pictures to use as your background as well; it's as simple as right-click, Set as Background. To change from this is not difficult either, just a few clicks and you'll be able to choose a different background.

Instructions

1. Right-click anywhere on the desktop and select Personalize. Reach the same Personalize area by clicking on Start and choosing Control Panel. Personalize is one of the icon options.

2. Select Desktop Background from the list of options.

3. Choose a different background image. A drop down list gives you the option of Pictures, Windows Wallpapers, and Solid Colors.
