How to Make a Totally Free Website With Very Little Information
While some personal and professional websites are rich in detail and filled with various content and media, a simple website can be just as useful for many purposes. If you have an idea for a website that will feature very little information and requires just a simple format, you can use one of several web hosts and register for your own subdomain, then create a totally free website using its available templates and other features.

Click "Sign me up" on Blogger.com and enter your email address, a new username and a password. Type a domain name and title for your website into the fields and click "Create blog."

Choose a simple template by clicking to preview a full-screen version, then clicking "Apply to blog" when you find one that you like.

Click "New post" and enter a title and information into the text box. Click the picture icon to upload a photo from your computer to accompany the text. Click "Preview" to view your post, then click "Publish."

Enter your email address, a new password and the domain name for your website on Tumblr.com, then select "Sign up."

Select "Themes" to find a simple template. Click "Appearance" to adjust the colors of the design and fonts.

Select "Text" and enter a title and information into the text box. Click the picture icon to upload a photo from your computer to accompany the text. Click "Preview to view your post, then select "Create post."

Go to WebStarts.com and click "Sign up now." Choose a category for your website and choose a simple template by clicking "Preview" over the template thumbnail, then clicking "Select."

Fill out the form with your name, an email address and a WebStarts password, then select "Continue." Type in a title and domain name for your website and select "Continue" again.

Select "Edit page" and enter the information that you want in the text box. Click the picture icon to upload a photo from your computer. Click "File," then "Save and Publish" when you are finished.
