How to Send Email Greetings

Send greeting cards to your friends via email.

Ever since the Internet took off in the late 1990s, email greeting cards have been a way to keep in touch with your friends and family. They are often funny, and can come with music and even video. Best of all, most of these greeting cards are completely free to use. They're one way to brighten someone else's day and it doesn't cost you a cent.

Instructions

1. Find an email greeting card supplier. A few choices are 123Greetings, Bluemountain and Egreetings. All of these provide online greeting cards for free as of 2010.

2. Select your greeting card. Go to the site that you have chosen to use and find a card that you like. None of these sites requires you to register. The cards are divided into different categories such as friendship, love, birthdays, graduation and congratulations. Find the category and card that you are interested in and click on it.

3. Enter the recipient's name and email address, then write the message and click send. You can opt to get a notification when the recipient opens the card by checking on the box in the lower left hand corner when you send the card.
