How to Detect Invisible Persons in Yahoo Messenger

You can find "invisible" Yahoo users with just a few clicks of the mouse.

When logged onto Yahoo Messenger, you have options whether to be visible to others. If you decide to sign in as "available" or "busy," you'll be visible to anyone who has your user name on his buddy list. If you decide to sign in as "invisible," you'll appear offline on every buddy list. There are ways, however, to see if a user who appears to be offline is signed into Yahoo Messenger. One way to do this is through a site called Detect Invisible.

Instructions

1. Obtain the Yahoo ID of the user that you wish to check on. The Yahoo ID is the user's email address minus the "@yahoo.com" part.

2. Browse to Detect Invisible's website (see Resources).

3. Enter the Yahoo ID in the search bar on the Detect Invisible website and click "Go."

4. View status (invisible, online or offline) in the box below the search bar.

5. Use the action options to send the user a message, call him, view his profile or save his avatar image.
