How to Clear Search History on iPod Touch

The iPod Touch is a personal media player and digital assistant that can connect to the Internet wirelessly. The software on the iPod Touch includes a web browser developed by Apple, called Safari, which acts much the same as the web browser on a desktop or laptop computer. To prevent people who use your iPod Touch from being able to view your web history, you should clear it regularly, which can be done through the iPod Touch settings menu.

Instructions

1. Close out of any open Safari browser windows.

2. Tap the "Settings" icon to open the settings menu.

3. Touch the "Safari" entry.

4. Scroll down and tap the "Clear History," "Clear Cookies" and "Clear Cache" buttons.

5. Tap the "Clear History" button, then tap "Clear History" to confirm.
