How to Print Your Google Search History

Many people are not aware that Google keeps a record of all the searches you make while you are signed into a Google account. This information is kept in your account settings and is available for you to view, print, move to bookmarks or delete at any time. Keep in mind that searches made while not logged into a Google account will not show up in your account history.

Instructions

    • 1

Log into your Google account. If you do not have an account, you will need to make one and your search history will only be saved from the time you create the account.

    • 2

Click on "web history" from the main Google account page. You may have to click on "Settings," select "My Account Settings" and then choose "web history." The next page will explain to you what web history is and ask if you want to enable web history or limit your web history to Google searches only. Choose the option to limit history to searches.

    • 3

Choose the search history you want to print. You can choose all history, just Web searches, image searches and more from the menu on the left. Using the "older" and "oldest" buttons at the bottom of the page, scroll through the dates to the day's history you want to print. From the browser menu, choose the "File" drop-down menu and select "Print."

Tips & Warnings

  • If you want to print more than one page of history, you will need to print each page individually. Print a page, click "older" to move to the next page and repeat the printing process.
