How to Make an Airsoft Scope
An Airsoft gun is a recreational firearm that fires plastic ammunition rather than powder-filled bullets. Groups of players often use Airsoft guns to play tagging games similar to paintball. Use a scope to improve your aim and increase the accuracy of your shots . A scope allows you to focus on your target and square your shot on it. You can make your own simple scope out of everyday items that will fit perfectly on your Airsoft slide.

Cut down the length of a toilet paper roll with scissors. The cut should open up the toilet roll all the way.

Make two cuts to the toilet paper roll, one to the left and one to the right of the first one, but only half the length of the roll. These cuts should be ½-inch away from the first cut.

Cut upward from the inside end of each of the side cuts at a 45-degree angle for 1 inch. The cuts should go away from the long cut down the middle, toward the closed side of the roll.

Cut across the width of the roll to make the angled cuts meet. This will make a piece of toilet roll come away from the rest of it. Keep this scrap for later.

Place the toilet roll on the slide of your barrel. The open side of the roll should just clip onto the slides and stay put. The shorter, cut-out end of the roll should be nearer to you.

Cut a long strip from the scrap of toilet roll. The piece should be just as wide as the width of your slide.

Place the strip of roll inside the toilet roll on your slide. Make sure it is flat against the slide and touching the sides of the toilet roll to hold the site securely to the slide. Tape the strip in place along each edge to the toilet roll. Slip off the roll with the taped strip from the slide and tape the underside seams.

Cut a 2-inch long and ¼-inch wide piece from the rest of the scrap of toilet roll. Fold the piece lengthwise so it forms a 90-degree corner. This will be the marker of your scope.

Tape one half of the bent strip to the underside of the toilet roll at the end where there is a complete circle. The strip should stick up into the middle of the roll.

Paint the roll a neutral color that will blend in or match your Airsoft. You can also paint the marker red or another bright, visible color to making sighting easier.
