Setting up email alerts from Oracle.

In Oracle Database 10g, a feature referred to as Automated Database Diagnostic Monitoring (ADDM) is available to collect and analyze database performance statistics. With ADDM, it is possible to detect and alert an administrator or manager monitoring the database for potential management and performance problems. By default, when a management or performance issue occurs, these alert notifications appear on to the Enterprise Management Control main screen, but with additional configurations, these alerts can be sent by email to whoever is monitoring the database.

When setting up the Notification alert in Oracle Database 11g with the ADDM, the email configuration has been enhanced slightly to include the optional authentication information. In the event that your server requires authentication, the username, the password and confirmation of the password are optional to satisfy the authentication of your Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server to send messages.

Just test is OK and email is sent but... if alert is coming ... no email could be sent I use 10g R2. I already set up the schedule's info and notification rules. Any ideas for my problem?
