How to See Invisible Friends on Yahoo Messenger
When logged into your Yahoo! Messenger account, you can chat with other users when they are listed as available. Sometimes users will set their status as Invisible to avoid contact if they are busy or want to ignore chat conversations. There are a few quick tricks that you can use to see if your friend is on Invisible mode or if they are really offline.
Instructions
-
Doodle
-
1
Log into your Yahoo! Messenger account by entering your username and password.
-
2
Double click on the name of a user in your friend list who is listed as offline. Once the chat window opens, you can begin your hunt.
-
-
3
Click on the "IMVironment" button in the toolbar. Select the Yahoo! Tools or Interactive Fun option and open the Doodle program.
-
4
Wait for the Doodle program to load. If the program continues to load and stays on the loading screen for more than two or three minutes, the user is actually offline. If the loading screen changes to a blank screen within two or three minutes, the user is online and in Invisible mode.

Tips & Warnings
Do not use third-party hacking programs to check the status of other Yahoo! Messenger users. These programs could allow hackers to gain access to your computer and view personal information or leave your system vulnerable to viruses.
