How to Recycle Sharp Cartridges
Those plastic toner cartridges that create the photocopies in your office can be recycled for free with minimal effort. Sharp offers a recycling program for any of their copier toner cartridges. Copier toner cartridges can be refurbished then refilled with ink and put back on the market, or the plastic components can be recycled into raw materials. Re-manufacturing a cartridge requires 80 percent less energy than making a new one, notes Earth911.
