How to Download Yahoo Messenger Setup

Yahoo Messenger is a free instant messaging program available for download from the Yahoo website. With Yahoo Messenger, you can have text, audio and video chats with your contacts; view status updates from a variety of social networking sites; and share video and photos with friends. Yahoo Messenger is available for Mac, Windows and mobile devices, including the iPhone, although not all features are available in all versions.

Instructions

1. Visit the Yahoo website, www.yahoo.com.

2. Click "Messenger" from the left sidebar of Yahoo sites.

3. Click "Download Now" to be taken to the Yahoo Messenger download page.

4. Click "Download Now" again. This will start the file transfer. Save the executable file (.exe) to your hard drive.

5. Double-click the file to start the installation. Locate the file that you just downloaded and then double-click it to launch the self installer. Follow the on-screen prompts until Messenger is installed.
