How to Make Spanish Flash Cards
Flash cards are a great way to learn new Spanish vocabulary and can help you study for an upcoming test or quiz. Flash cards can be made on index cards or by using free websites that design the flash cards for you. For flash cards to be effective, you will have to put in ample study hours to learn the new words. When you think you have a grasp of the words, have a parent or friend quiz you using the flash cards.

Write a Spanish vocabulary word on one side of the flash card.

Write the definition of the Spanish word on the other side of the flash card.

Repeat this with each Spanish word, using one index card per word.

Quiz yourself with the flash cards. Bring up a card and say the definition of the Spanish word, then turn the card over to see if you are correct. Later, start with the English definition, then say the Spanish word.

Go to the "Scholastic" home website, and click "words."

Follow the steps on the screen and enter the Spanish words in the left column boxes, and their matching definitions in the boxes on the right.
