      Open iTunes on your iMac. Go to the "Store" menu and either sign in to your Apple store account or create an account if you do not have one. You must enter your credit card and billing address to create an account. No charges are billed unless you download music.

      Open your P2P software. Read the terms of service, which should state that you will observe all copyright laws when using this software. Click on "Audio" in files types, and type the name of the song or band that you want to find music for.
