How to Design a Loyalty Card
Loyalty cards work for your business. They help you track trends in buying by all your customers and pinpoint what individual clients seek. This information is important because the card doesn't create loyalty. What the loyalty card does is gives the company the information it needs to keep customers coming back; for example, making available purchases that customers are interested in. Your design represents your business. Design your loyalty card carefully.

1
Brand your card. Create or use a company logo on the corner of your card to make recognition instant. Choose your logo carefully as it represents your company and will continue to do so for the life of your business.
-
2
Choose a color that is pleasing to the eye and that stands out among all of your customer's loyalty cards. Use a picture if it works with the image you want to promote for your business. Avoid random, unrelated pictures.

3
Place your bar code and/or magnetic strip at the bottom of the card, similar to the magnetic strip on a credit card. You want your card to be easy to swipe through the card reader.

4
Pick your thickness according to your budget. The 30 mil thickness, which is identical to credit cards, is the most expensive choice. Lower your card expenses by picking 24 or 18 millimeters. They are thinner but still substantial. The smaller the millimeter, the less expensive the card. Add a smaller key ring card for an additional fee.

5
Make a mock-up card on one of the free sites on the Internet. Check for spelling or grammar errors and aesthetic appeal. Once you approve of your design, contact the company of your choices to make your loyalty card. Choose a company that allows you to approve of the final design before printing.
