How to Use a Calling Card With a Fax Machine

Using a calling card on a fax machine is simple and takes only a few extra steps.

At times, you will need to send a long-distance fax and want to use a calling card instead of going through the main phone line. It is a very simple process.

• Calling card
• Fax machine

Instructions

1. Prepare the documents. Load all materials into the fax machine paper feeder.

2. Call the calling-card number from the fax machine. Pick up the fax receiver and dial the calling-card number.

3. Enter your pin number. Press your pin number into the keypad of the fax machine.

4. Enter the destination number. Press the number where you are sending the fax into the fax machine keypad.

5. Listen for the signal and send. Listen for the fax connection signal. Once the signal is heard, press send.
