How to Transfer Applications From a PC to an iPhone
In addition to playing MP3s, movies and audiobooks, your Apple iPhone can also host a variety of applications, or apps. Download games, productivity apps, social networking apps and utility applications from the iTunes App Store, which is free and available for both the Mac OS and Windows operating systems. Find the apps that you download from the iTunes store in the Apps folder of your iTunes library.

Open iTunes.

Visit the App Store if you need to download applications. The apps that you purchase will save to the Apps folder of your iTunes library.

Plug the USB end of the iPhone connector cable into a USB port on your PC. Insert the other end into your iPhone. If iTunes attempts to sync, swipe your finger across the "Cancel" bar on the iPhone screen.

Click on your iPhone in the "Devices" section of the panel to the left of the iTunes program window.

Select the "Apps" tab from the top of the page.

Check the "Sync Apps" check box at the top of the page. Notice the list of your applications in the section to the left. Select which apps you want to sync to your iPhone by clicking in the check box next to the title of the app. A small check mark will appear in the check box when an application is selected.

Click the "Sync" button at the bottom of the window to transfer the applications from your PC to your iPhone.
