How to Design Clothes Online for Fun
Designing your own clothes and putting together unique outfits online can be a fun way to pass the time. If you know where to look, there are a lot of free games and virtual design studios on the web that allow you to create your own fashion designs. When you're done, you can print them out to exchange with friends or bring when you go shopping; with a little work, you may be able to approximate your great designs with some similar pieces and accessories from the mall.

Go to girlsense.com and click on the pink "Fashion Design Studio" button on the left side of the screen.

Create a user ID and password. Enter your email address and click "Continue." A window will open with your fashion design studio.

Choose the type of clothing you would like to design from the options presented.

Customize your clothing by selecting tools from the bar on the left side and applying them to the clothing on the model.

Save your outfit by clicking the blue "Save" button on the lower right side of the screen. You may also create a boutique to share your fashions with other members of the Girl Sense community.

Print a copy of your outfit by clicking the "Print Screen" button on a Windows PC and then opening any text editing program. Right-click on the empty document and select "Paste." Print the document. On a Mac, hold down Control + Alt + 4 and select the area of the screen that you want to print. An image file will be created on your desktop. Double-click it and print it out using the default image viewing program.

Go to candystand.com and perform a search for "Fashion Designer NY."

Click on the link to the game and select "Click To Start" on the main menu.

Choose the fashion studio that you want to work at from the options presented.

Pick three models for your virtual fashion show; one will showcase a dressy outfit, one will be professional, and the third will model casual clothing.

Dress the models by clicking on clothing and accessories and dragging them onto the models. If you forget what type of clothing your model is supposed to wear, hover the mouse over her head and it will tell you.

Start the fashion show once you have dressed all your models by clicking "Start Show." You will be awarded points depending on how stylish each of your outfits are.

Print copies of your outfits by clicking the "Print Screen" button and pasting the image into any word-processing program.
