How to Quit the Auto Login to Skype

Skype is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service that allows you to make phone calls over your computer. The Skype application resides on your computer, where you can manage your contacts and calls. One annoying drawback of Skype is the automatic launching of its software when you start your computer. This slows down the computer. You can turn off this feature with a few clicks of your mouse.

Instructions

1. Launch your Skype application.

2. Click "Tools" in the main menu bar.

3. Scroll down and click "Options."

4. Remove the check mark next to "Start Skype when computer starts."

5. Close the window and restart Skype.
