How to Convert VOB to MPEG in OSX
No matter whether you use a Mac, a PC or run Linux, you'll find that DVDs still use the DVD Video Object (VOB) format for storing their movie content. VOBs typically contain high-quality video content, but you may have trouble getting your desktop player to play a VOB once you have removed it from the DVD, particularly in Mac OSX; thus, Mac users may want to convert VOBs into MPEGs, which work in nearly all Mac programs. Online conversion tools can transfer VOBs into MPEGs for free.
