How to Remove Bars on Internet Explorer 7.0 in Windows XP
Stop Internet Explorer 7 crashes before they happen by removing toolbars. Some bars downloaded as add-ons for Internet Explorer 7 do not have the correct compatibility and result in crashing the program. This only leads to frustration, but you can save yourself computer restarts by removing these bars.

Double click on the Internet Explorer 7.0 icon on your Windows XP desktop.

Go to the button at the top labeled "Tools" or with the tool icon and click it to open the tool menu.

Click "manage add-ons". Select the bar you want to disable, by clicking on it once.

Press on the "disable" button under the settings section, and restart Internet Explorer 7 to temporarily remove the toolbar.

Remove the disabled toolbar from your computer if after disabling it, Internet Explorer no longer crashes.

Go to the Windows XP desktop and click on the "Start" button.

Select "Control Panel", and double click on the "Add or Remove Programs" icon.

Click on the "Change or Remove Programs" button on the left side of the screen, and look for the name of the toolbar you want to remove in the right side.

Single-click on the name of the toolbar to highlight it and bring up the button to remove it.

Press the "remove" button and follow the prompts in the windows which appear.

Restart your computer for the program to finish uninstalling from your system.
