How to Get Rid of a Trojan on a Mac

Apple and the Mac OS X operating system are known for being fairly resilient when it comes to viruses, spyware and other malicious software. Despite what some Mac apologists (and Apple marketing) might want you to believe, Macs can in fact become infected. Regardless of operating system, it is always a smart idea to have an antivirus application and run a full system scan once a week. Removing a Trojan on your Mac simply requires Mac-specific antivirus software.
