How to Upload Images to Google Earth
Founded in 2007, Google Earth has since become one of the leading providers in geographic data applications. Aside from merely generating GPS search queries, Google Earth allows users access to a dynamic range of topographical options, like adjusting the vantage from an aerial perspective perpendicularly and viewing mountain ranges and cities from a horizontal perspective. In July 2007, Google acquired Panoramio, a geographic-oriented photo sharing website which, combined with Google Earth, allows users to share photographs taken at specific locations.

Tips & Warnings
Once your images have been approved by Google Earth, they will appear as small, blue dots on the map. Zoom in to see them in full.
It can take up to a month for your images to be accepted by Google Earth.
Google Earth only accepts large images (anything over 500 pixels in height and/or width).
Google Earth will not accept photographs taken from cars, from underwater, or from the air.
Google Earth will not accept photographs where the major focus is on people, pets, events, street signs, or any other non-geographic based subjects.
You have a better chance for your photograph to be accepted by Google Earth if the quality of the image is good (crisp, with good resolution).
