How to Reset Macbook Power Management
Mac OS X's "Energy Saver" preference pane controls the time it takes for the computer and display to go to sleep. It also allows the user to automatically reduce brightness, and has separate options for running the MacBook off battery power or when plugged in. These settings are all to help conserve the MacBook's power and prolong the life of the battery. If you've adjusted and tweaked the settings but would like to reset the options, you can easily restore the system to its defaults.
