How to Disable Windows Live at Startup

Luckily, you can disable Windows Live Messenger from starting when you boot your computer and you can manually open and log in whenever you please.

      Open Windows Live Messenger and log in.

      Click the "Show Menu" button.

      Hover over "Tools" and select "Options."

      Choose "Sign In" on the left side of the window.

      Uncheck "Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log on to Windows."
