1
Place the cabinet door face down on a blanket. This will help avoid damage to the door.
-
2
Place one hinge base plate two inches from the top of the door and another two inches from the bottom of the door. Use a tape measure to position the hinge base plates at the proper locations. Fasten the hinge base plates to the cabinet door using the screws provided with the hinge and a power drill.

3
Measure the door opening and the door using a tape measure. The door should overlap the door opening equally. Most doors are designed to be one inch larger than the opening. If this is the case, the door will overlap the cabinet frame by 1/2-inch in all directions. Your specific door may be slightly different but use this as a guide to determine how much the door overlaps.
-
4
Measure up from the cabinet opening the amount the door will overlap the frame and make a small mark on the cabinet frame using a pencil on each side of the opening Apply a horizontal strip of masking tape in a straight line connecting the two marks on the cabinet face frame so you can line the door up properly. This tape should be placed exactly where the door will overlap the frame.
-
5
Place the door into position. Line the door up with the tape installed in step four. Mark the hinge location using a pencil or masking tape. This will allow you to know exactly where the hinge plate should be mounted.
-
6
Fasten the hinge to the cabinet frame using the screws provided and a power drill.
-
7
Repeat these steps for any remaining doors.
