How to Send Large Photos
Digital photo files can be quite large, especially at higher resolutions or high definition. One way to send large files is to copy the file to a data CD and put it in the mail, but that is slow, time-consuming and expensive if you send large files frequently. Email services have limits to how large the attachments can be, so you may not be able to send some files using your regular email. Fortunately, there's another solution.

Visit the website of a file sharing and sending service, such as TransferBigFiles, SendThisFile, YouSendIt, DropSend or HotShare.

Register for the service. This may be an optional step, depending on the requirements of the service you choose. Some offer a free level and a pay level, and a few will let you send files without registering at all. Generally, you will be allowed to send more and larger files if you register for a pay service, but your needs may be such that a free service is adequate.

Choose the file you want to send from your computer's hard drive, an attached memory card or removable drive. Click on the button to browse your computer's file system for the file, and select it.

Enter the email address of the person you want to send the file to. You will probably have to enter your own email address, too, especially for services that don't require you to register.

Click on "Send" to send the file. The recipient will get an email. Depending on the service, the file may be attached, or the email may contain a link to the website where the recipient can go and download the file.

Tips & Warnings
If you send lots of files, or if you want to send the same file to lots of people, you may want to look for an online storage service that allows you to share files with others. HotShare is one such service, where the recipients can go and find the file you've uploaded.
