How to Make a CD Shell Cover
CD shells, also known as clamshells, take up less space than traditional jewel cases. Clamshells are made of durable plastic in a circular design that fits around the shape of the CD or DVD. When creating covers for your CD shells, create a round label much like you'd make for the CD itself. To create a CD shell cover, connect a printer to your computer and use round, blank CD label stickers. Once printed, the label sticks directly onto the front of the CD clamshell.

Purchase the full version of CD/DVD Jewel Case & Label Creator or download the free trial version. Install the software onto your computer.
