How to Decorate a Church With Candelabras for a Wedding
Candelabras are elaborate candle holders that have been a part of wedding decor since the early 1900's. Although they have become less commonly seen, they still provide a vintage and elegant touch to the wedding decorations and are very appropriate to a church ceremony. Resurrecting the candelabra during your wedding ceremony will create an old fashioned feel, as the decoration's origins can be traced back through history for thousands of years.

Instructions

1
Cut an 18 inch wreath floral foam form in half.
-
2
Wind water resistant tape around the semi-circle foam for added strength to the wreath and to help uphold the structural integrity once the flowers are inserted into it.
-
-
3
Punch several small holes through the wreath form to thread wire through. This will allow you to hang the flowers on the candelabras.
-
4
Soak the wreath in water and plant food for several minutes.
-
5
Insert floral wire through the holes and twist or tie them into loops in the back.
-
6
Tie a piece of ribbon into a bow and wrap a piece of floral wire around the center of the bow. Insert the wire into the foam to attach the bow to the arrangement.
-
7
Hang the half-wreath of flowers over a sturdy candelabra, looping the wire around the candlesticks.
