How to Load Songs on a Mini SD Chip
Mini SD chips, also called microSD cards, are simply the smallest version of SD memory cards manufactured. They are most commonly used in cell phones to transfer files to and from cell phones and computers. They are particularly ideal for adding songs to your cell phone if it is capable of playing music and serving as a portable music player. If you want to load songs on a mini SD chip, all you need is the appropriate adapter and knowledge of basic computer skills.

Remove the cap the mini SD chip adapter, and then slide the mini SD chip within the adapter with the golden prong side of the chip facing down. Replace the cap to the mini SD chip adapter, and then plug the adapter into your computer's USB port.

Click "Start" and then "My Computer. Your mini SD chip is listed beneath the removable storage drives section of the "My Computer" window.

Locate the songs that you want to load onto your mini SD chip. They are usually located in your "My Music" folder. Drag and drop the songs to the mini SD chip drive to load them on the mini SD chip.

Tips & Warnings
If you're loading the songs on a mini SD chip in order to transfer them to a cell phone, make sure you place them in the "My Sounds" folder so that they will transfer to the correct location on your cell phone.
Beware of not clicking the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of your computer screen before unplugging you mini SD chip adapter from your computer because you could damage you chip by doing so.
