How to Download Torrents Using BitTorrent

Instructions

1. Power on your computer and login to your operating system user account. Run your Web browser of choice and navigate to the BitTorrent homepage. Download and install the BitTorrent client software and restart your computer.

2. Login to your operating system user account again and open your Web browser. Select a torrent site and search for a download you would like. If you wanted the "Toy Story 3" movie trailer, search "Toy Story 3 trailer" and press "Enter." Scroll through the search results and select the torrent with the most "seeders" (people uploading data to other users). Download that torrent file and open it on your computer.

3. BitTorrent will open the torrent file and begin downloading the data associated from seeders. Once the torrent finishes downloading, the files will be saved to your computer and BitTorrent will begin seeding the download from your computer so other users can download quickly. You may choose to continue seeding, or close the program and use your newly downloaded files. You can delete the torrent file you used once the download is complete.
