How to Stop Pop-Up Web Pages

How to Stop Pop-Up Web Pages thumbnail
Pop-up ads annoy many Internet users, but typically can be easily blocked.

Pop-up ads have become a common feature on many websites. Most pop-ups are triggered by a piece of software installed on a website that loads an advertiser's page. Pop-ups take up computer resources, interrupt Internet browsing and generally annoy most website viewers. A number of readily available software applications can prevent most pop-ups. The most commonly used web browsers, including Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Mozilla's Firefox, have built-in pop-up blockers.
