How to Make a Collage of Photos on a Computer
Making a collage is a fun project that is not only entertaining, but is also an expression of artistic vision. Even photos of friends, family and special events can become artistic when made into a collage. Unlike traditional collages made on paper with cutout pictures and glue, a computer collage is professional looking and avoids the mess of getting paint and scraps everywhere.

1
Open a graphics program such as Photoshop or Picasa. Any graphics program will work, though the specifics of use will vary slightly depending on the program and the version of the program being used.
-
2
Import the pictures to the program in a new document. This will place the pictures in the appropriate program so that they can be used in the collage. Open all of the pictures.
-
-
3
Touch up the pictures. Touch ups can include cutting out parts or adjusting colors. The touch ups made are personal preferences.
-
4
Place a picture in the background. Any preferred picture is appropriate, though the best pictures are those without people, such as a building or nature shot.
-
5
Select a photo and copy it. Paste the photo to a new layer. Repeat this process for all of the pictures being used in the collage.
-
6
Adjust the sizes and locations of the pictures in each individual layer. The collage should look completed once all of the pictures are located and resized. Save the collage.
