How to Troubleshoot a Frigidaire Dishwasher That Will Not Fill
The Frigidaire dishwasher is an appliance that aids in keeping your dishes clean without the manual labor of hand cleaning. When the dishwasher won't fill with water, the dishes cannot be cleaned. There are two causes for this: a clogged spray arm or a kink or wrongly installed water line going to the dishwasher. Fixing this problem should not take you very long to accomplish. Water Supply Line

Turn off the circuit breaker to the dishwasher electricity.

Remove the screw holding the dishwasher in place. This screw is typically located on the underside of the countertop above the dishwasher.

Pull the dishwasher out of the dishwasher cavity and locate the water line. The water line will be made of copper or a silver-like metal.

Straighten out and remove kinks from the water line. Check of the connection the water line makes with the back of the dishwasher. Tighten the connection with a pipe wrench if necessary.

Replace the dishwasher to the dishwasher cavity and reattach it to the underside of the countertop. Turn on the electricity and turn on the dishwasher. Observe whether the water is running properly and the dishwasher is filling.
Spray Arm

Open the dishwasher and pull the dish rack out of the unit.

Locate a small nut under the spray arm and use a ratchet or a wrench to loosen the nut. Pull the spray arm out of the unit.

Turn over the spray arm and remove the screw holding it together. Clean out any gunk inside the spray arm using warm water and a sponge.

Replace the spray arm's screw and the spray arm to the dishwasher. Tighten the nut holding it in place.

Turn on the dishwasher and observe whether the water is running properly and the dishwasher is filling.
