Safari is the default Internet browser installed on all Mac computer systems (it comes preset on all Apple computers). As with most other Internet browsers, it is possible to open up and view your email messages with the program, and Safari even allows you to open email attachments. This is especially important when attempting to view images or additional documents sent to you from friends, family or coworkers.

      Single-click the Safari icon on the dock at the bottom of the Mac computer.

      Navigate to the email service provider's Web page; then log in to your email account.

      Click the email that contains the attached document and wait for the message to appear on screen.

    • 4

      Click the link located at the top of the email message to select the attached file, and Safari downloads the attached file. Once complete the file automatically loads onto the screen.
