      Open the Intuit QuickBooks 2006 application on your computer and make sure that you are connected to the Internet.

      Press the "F2" key if you are unsure if QuickBooks is registered, and a dialog box will appear showing the registration status as "Registered" or "Unregistered."

      Click on the "Help" option and then the "Register QuickBooks" option. Select the "Begin Registration" option and a dialog box will appear on the screen.

      Select the box next to the "I Agree" field for the License Agreement page and then choose the "Next" button.

      Enter the seven-digit validation code found on your software packaging into the text boxes and then click on the "Next" button.

      Enter your personal information, including name and email address, into the appropriate fields. Click on the "Finish" button and your QuickBooks 2006 application will be registered.
