How to Delete Spybot
Due to the increasing amount of computer vulnerabilities found in programs and operating systems, it is imperative to own a tool that fights off computer troubles. Spybot-Search & Destroy is an anti-malware application that helps in the detection and deletion of spyware and other related malicious data that infiltrate your system. While having Spybot installed would help keep your data safer, deleting it may be a desired option should you try a new anti-malware program for your computer.
Instructions

Windows XP Control Panel

Go to the Start menu and then the Control Panel. Select "Add or Remove Programs" from the list of available applets.

Locate the Spybot-Search & Destroy entry in the window. Select it and click "Remove."

Allow the system to completely uninstall the application and exit by clicking the red "X" at the top right corner of the uninstall menu.
Windows XP Alternate Options

Click the "My Computer" icon from your desktop and access the local drive in which Spybot was installed. Typically, this is marked as the "C" drive. It is also known as the main hard drive where your operating system resides.

Click "Program Files" and locate the "Spybot-Search & Destroy" directory in the list of available programs. Click "Unins000.exe" to successfully delete the application.

Select "Start" and then "Programs" and locate the Spybot menu entry as an alternative way to delete the program. Select "Uninstall Spybot-S&D" from the options available.
Windows 7 And Vista

Click "Start" and then go to the Control Panel. Select "Programs" from the list of applets, then click "Uninstall a Program" below the "Programs and Features" option.

Select Spybot from the programs list available and click "Uninstall." Allow Windows to delete the application and exit out of the uninstall menu through the red "X" at the top-right corner of the window.

Launch "My Computer" and locate Spybot from your local drive in a similar fashion to Windows XP, should you delete it using this method instead.
