How to Erase the Search History in Safari

Apple's Safari Web browser is available for Windows as well as Mac OS X. Like other popular Web browsers, Safari includes a search bar that saves your search history, allowing you to easily perform the same searches in the future. Safari includes a "Reset" tool that erases the search history and, optionally, other private data.

Instructions

Open Safari by clicking "Start," "All Programs" and "Safari."

    • 2

Click the gear icon at the top-right corner of the "Safari" browser window.
