The Intuit QuickBooks financing software application gives users the opportunity to manage business transactions with invoices, company files, customer lists and more. The QuickBooks Web Connector is an application that starts when you open QuickBooks, and allows other programs to exchange data with QuickBooks. If you no longer want the QuickBooks Web Connector to start every time you open QuickBooks, you can manually disable the application at any time.

Instructions

      Close out of the QuickBooks application and any other windows or programs that you have open on your computer.

      Click on the “Start” button on the lower, left-hand side of your computer’s desktop.

      Move your mouse over the “All Programs” option and then click on the “Startup” option. Locate the QuickBooks Web Connector program.

      Right click on the “QuickBooks Web Connector” option and then click on the “Delete” option. Click on the “Delete Shortcut” option from the "Confirm Shortcut Delete" dialog box.

      Click on the “Start” button again and then click on the “Shut Down” option. Click on the “Restart” option to restart your computer and then open the QuickBooks application.
